Hello, friends!
Another busy month in quarantine. This time, I moved, a process which affected pretty much everything else I did this month. Let’s get into it.
to create
As I said in my last post, I have been working on rereading and reoutlining my WWI novel, Entrenched. This month, I finished reviewing act 1. I had to take a break from my edits due to moving, but I intend to get back into it soon.
No videos and only one blog post for May. I’m sure we’re all tired of the excuses by now. And to think I was doing so well at the beginning of the year! Honestly, my biggest problem was that I stopped using my Passion Planner once the pandemic broke out, which was the source of all my productivity. I’m getting back into it, so we can only hope things will get better from here. I have been drafting that mega-quarantine Stories Of post, which will now include May, so stay tuned!

to work
Still freelancing for Flagler! Nothing too exciting. I’m looking for some local work, but as I said in my last post, getting a job is no easy task right now.
to live
So the most exciting part of this month was my big move to Winter Park! Here’s a little insight into that whole process.
May 2: Ray and I toured a little duplex and instantly fell in love. We honestly thought it was out of our league, given how perfect it was. But it had a wonderful amount of windows, a laundry room/porch, an outdoor patio and yard, and a walk-in closet in the master bedroom.
May 15: We moved! Our perfect duplex became our perfect home. In a whirlwind three days, we packed up our St. Augustine lives and moved to Winter Park with our new roommate, our dog Pi, and Ray’s lizard Obi Wan.
Since living in our new place, we have slowly worked to transform it into a comfortable home. I’m hoping to have a house tour up on our channel sometime soon. (Whatever that means for me.)
Here are a few new house highlights.

New patio set!
Adorable new dining set!
Ray and Obi acclimating to the new house.
Pi helping me with yoga.
May 28: My mom got a dog! He’s a little over a year old, and his name is Buddy. While I haven’t met the new dog yet, as he lives in Tallahassee, I’m very glad to see her with such a sweet new friend.
That’s pretty much it for my May update.
As the events of the end of the month unfolded and have intensified, it feels necessary to acknowledge the strife in our country as the result of racial violence. As a white woman, my place is not to speak for or over the black community, so I want to provide links to resources that detail ways to educate and provide support.
Ways to help BLM: Links to petitions to sign, places to donate, and ways to learn.
Anti-racism resources for white people: Educational resources for learning from a place of privilege.
how to financially help BLM with NO MONEY: If you don’t have the funds to donate, watch this video without skipping ads. You can also rewatch it to donate more if you watch 3-5 videos in between each stream.
Justice in June: Commit to a schedule of education that fits into your daily life.
Stay educated and active.
That’s all for now. Thanks for reading.
